Welcome to Woodbury School

Woodbury school is a five-teacher
primary school in a country setting with a strong emphasis on developing responsibility, self-respect and self-discipline among students.
We have:
  • An integrated curriculum approach, planned specifically to encourage the children to be responsible for their own learning through inquiry thinking
  • Large grounds providing opportunities for challenging and creative play
  • Experienced staff
  • An excellent bus service
  • A covered outdoor pool
  • A family and community atmosphere

We aim to help every child develop to their full potential academically, socially, physically and emotionally in a stimulating and safe environment.

Woodbury School holds a number of annual events such as a Pet Show, a Flower and Craft Show,  Field trips, various Sports Events and an end-of-year Celebration of Learning. Every second year we produce a musical play in the village hall, and on alternate years we take part in the Geraldine District Schools' Arts Festival. We are proud of our place in the local community and the district's support of our school.
